Abstract Plant main electrical wiring is an important part of the power system. Its ability is to operate reliably for the security and stability of power system and has a very important impact. This paper conducts a power plant comparative and analysis main electrical connection reliability. The plant is affected by the failure of main power line and the corresponding reliability index is proposed based on state space power plant main electrical connection reliability comparison methods, depending on the wiring of the main electrical connection for power plant reliability comparison .
