Analysis the Reason of 110kV Transformer Total Hydrocarbon Beyond Standard |

Abstract After discovered total hydrocarbon beyond standard data from a 110 kV transformer, inner high temperature overheating fault of transformer is diagnosed with three ratio methods. Combined analysis with chromatographic analysis data, high load test and diagnostic test, the fault position is gradually fixed. Through man-hole, maintainer go into transformer, finding the non-load tap-changer blackened because high temperature overheating. Preventive measures can be provided to prevent the similar transformer faults.
