Abstract Wind turbine power performance is one of the important indexs to evaluate the wind power generator, which objectively reflect the overall economy of wind farms. This paper is analysis based on the bins of IEC61400-12-1 test standard for results, in view of current wind power turbine power characteristic analysis of the test results is not at the scene in the data automatic screening, lack of automatic calculation, exist taking a wind tuebine of a wind field test data, for example, that is proposed wind turbine power performance of the on-site data analysis methods, which using matlab and GUI control module to write test procedures, for data processing and analysis in order to get the power curve, improve the deficiencies of traditional methods and the measurement of wind power efficiency, shorten test cycles.
