Abstract  The mechanical loss test is very important in the three-phase induction motor test. The mechanical loss is specified through the extension cord of motor no-load test curve in the national standard GB/T 1032-2005, so do in the teaching material. In the motor factory usually using the trisquare draw curve extension cord to acquire the mechanical loss. No matter what kind of method, the hand-painted curves exist error, sometimes the error is very big. And the manual drawing curve is relatively complex. In this paper, by using the method of curve fitting analyzed the mechanical loss of three-phase induction motor, smaller error and easier for the computer processing of experimental data.
