Abstract The electromagnetic transient mathematical model of the PWM rectifier based on the switch state function is established and modified PWM rectifier passive controller based on EL is designed in this paper. To eliminate the influence of system parameters variations on the control performance,real-time feedback the DC voltage of the rectifier to the control system and then compensate the active power which has been calculated by fine tuning PI regulation,so the final active power reference component of the d axis is get,thereby eliminating the system steady-state error. Finally,the simulation system is established in the MATLAB,and the simulation results verify the validity of the passive controller designed in this paper.
