Abstract Abstract Ethernet technology as a means of local information transmission efficiency, has been widely in industrial applications. In this paper, a power monitoring system is analyzed based on Ethernet technology. Summarizes the IEC 61850 standard and 103 transmission protocol is proposed based on the statute of Ethernet protocol stack implementation and design methods in power monitoring system.
