Abstract:As an important way to test the reliability of protection devices, dynamic simulation test faces many challenges, such as many test items, difficult system simulation, and short test cycle, in the face of system level batch dynamic simulation tests of protection devices. In this paper, according to the requirements of system level dynamic simulation parallel test, the primary system model of the power grid is established by Matlab, and the network communication equipment and real-time digital simulation platform is combined to exchange data with relay protection devices, realizing real-time simulation and fault simulation. Finally, the abnormal operation state of the power grid is simulated, and the reaction ability of the protection device to different system faults is tested in batches, which effectively improves the detection efficiency.
