Abstract  The current circuit of inverter welding power source are mainly single-ended type, half bridge, bridge type three kind of forms, including the application of a half-bridge series resonant inverter resistance is relatively common, but there are big switch loss, low utilization efficiency of power supply and other problems. This topic to solved some problems of the current inverter spot welding machine and the optimization, this paper proposes a new type of low Q value a half-bridge series resonant inverter induction welding power source circuit topology, it can be internal part of the system without the amount of functionality into active energy, and reduces the Q value of the circuit, improve the efficiency of the output of the inverter welding power source, type and by TMS320F2812 DSP for closed-loop control, the simulation experimental research shows that the a half bridge IGBT series resonant inverter spot welding machine is high efficiency, good stability, PWM control precision, etc, make the inverter spot welding machine working performance was improved.
