Application of New Standard for State Assessment of Relay Protection in Fujian Power Grid

Abstract  This paper introduced the components of state assessment of relay protection. Then, Q/GDW 11285—2014 was compared with Q/FJG 10097—2011 to show the difference. Combining with implementation of condition-based relay protection maintenance in Fujian power grid, the new standard was analyzed in depth and the influence of it on condition-based maintenance was expounded. Finally, new standard was tentatively implemented in Fujian power grid. The result shows that new standard improves state assessment of relay protection.
