Abstract  In this paper, the numerical analysis of SVPWM inverter harmonic effect is mainly introduced. The distribution of the harmonics in the full voltage range, the numerical size and the change trend of the modulation system M are discussed and compared with SPWM. The results show that SVPWM has a relatively large number of harmonic components, and in the full voltage range and the same SPWM harmonic components in the numerical and changing characteristics are different. Under the same carrier ratio N conditions, when M<0.35, SVPWM current distortion rate THD value is larger, and the THD of SVPWM is lower than that of SPWM when M≥0.35. Set up the TMS320F2812 DSP to control the core of the hardware experimental platform, the measured results of SVPWM harmonics are in agreement with the calculated values, which provides the basis for the objective evaluation of SVPWM technical performance and elimination of harmonic effects.
