Abstract The construction behavior of the transmission lines around the transmission line is increasing day by day. The existing methods of monitoring the external force damage are video, laser and so on. The power consumption of the equipment is large, and the real-time work has higher requirements on the power supply capacity. The existing external damage monitoring device is the use of solar power, reliability affected by weather conditions, it is difficult to protect the reliable operation of the monitoring system. In view of the above problems, this paper studies a kind of external fault monitoring method based on low power microwave detection technology, which uses the overhead ground wire to take power supply, and starts the image equipment shooting scene situation forensics, greatly improves the anti-external force Destroy the reliability of the monitoring system.
