Abstract This paper proposes an improved BeiDou navigation RF power amplifier solution that improves the efficiency and linearity of the RF power amplifier. The final stage power amplifier is designed using a combination of load traction and source traction. The pre-stage amplifier and driver stage amplifier are designed using power back-off technology. The conjugate matching method is used to design the inter-stage matching circuit to reduce the insertion loss. After theoretical analysis, simulation design and physical debugging, the rationality of the scheme was verified, and a high-efficiency, high-linearity, high-power RF power amplifier that can be applied to Beidou navigation terminal products was produced.
