Abstract In this paper, a new method of power grid outage maintenance is put forward in the background of global energy interconnection, which has the advantages of high operability and high efficiency. A new device in the field of grounding protection tools for transmission line maintenance is designed, and the innovation of grounding wire and its connection method for transmission line maintenance of large power grid is realized. Based on GPS Communication, the new device uses the pressure sensor to sense the state of the ground wire, and uses visual system to collect the scene photos to realize visual management. It provides certain technical support for power grid outage maintenance in the background of energy internet.
