Abstract Smart grid is the main trend of electric power system in the future. This paper introduces recent tendency and some progeny. The factor which affects the development of smart grid is also pointed in the characteristic of smart grid, then some measures are brought forward to push the construction of Smart grid at the view of item generalization. At last, the main technologies and apply styles of Smart grid are recommended.
