Abstract The choice of medium-voltage distribution network power model is multi-attribute decision making problems. In order to more scientific and reasonable to determine the power model of medium-voltage distribution network, this paper proposes a more reasonable power model comprehensive weight method. This method considers that the requirements of weight vector which has randomness and consistency by introducing the entropy function, computing the power of each evaluation vector by establishing constrained nonlinear optimization model, and solved the issues of its randomness and consistency which no considered by the previous comprehensive empowerment method. Finally, using GRA completed comprehensive decision. The comparison of a typical example results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, and it is more reasonable than the other methods.
