Abstract Abnormal of SF6 decompositon products in a 330kV circuit breaker is analyzed. Through the test and analysis of the circuit breaker,significant hidden danger of security is exposed,thus,the safe operation of the equipment is assured. It is a typical case of internal fault finding by using the method of gas decomposition products. It has the reference significance in operation,maintenace and test of device SF6 filled.
