Abstract:Firstly, compensation points of wind farm are determined by node of the larger voltage fluctuation which is got by voltage/reactive sensitivity and Greedy algorithm. An improved genetic algorithm is applied to determine reactive compensation capacity and two configuration schemes of two reactive power compensation devices are given. Lastly, wind farm simulation models are established by Matlab/Simulink tool. If the output voltage of wind turbine in the wind farm and voltage of wind turbine connect to the grid is in the prescribed scope. The simulation results shows that configuration scheme is correct and feasible and it will provides a effective theory for research on reactive power compensation of wind turbine connect to the grid.
