Abstract:In this paper, the influence of the rotor surface structure on the magnetic weakening performance of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is studied. The rotor surface structure between the adjacent poles of the IPMSM is changed to determine different model schemes. Finite element software MAXWELL is used to model and simulate the prototype. The results show that optimization of the rotor structure can change the calculation of the polar arc coefficient and inductance parameters of the permanent magnet motor. This method can also improve the Flux-weakening Operation Performance of IPMSM.
