Abstract：Through the analysis of a fault case of a protection channel abnormal caused by transmission line grounding, this paper finds out the cause of the abnormal channel caused by the ground potential difference, and gives the concrete solution, at the same time. Some suggestions are put forward for the grounding mode of the cabinet of the communication machine.
