Abstract：The problems in wiring of test line in relay protection and high voltage pre test work are analyzed. Innovation has been made without changing the function of the original alligator clip. A new crocodile clip is designed to prevent accidental touch. A new type of alligator clip is designed for preventing accidental touch. The innovative crocodile clip is applied in two specialties of relay protection and high voltage test. Through the analysis of test data, the new type of crocodile clamp effectively solves the problem of accidental touch and connection in relay protection scheduled check and high voltage pre-test work, shortens the working time as a whole, and improves the safety and economic benefits of field work.
