Abstract:When the dielectric loss is measured using the correlation function method, fluctuations in the grid frequency affect the accuracy of the measured dielectric loss. Aiming at the problem of large measurement error caused by grid frequency fluctuation, this paper proposes to improve the correlation function method according to the method of adjusting the sampling time of grid frequency. The improved method obtains the frequency of the power grid by the frequency shift filtering method, changes the total duration of the sampling by the measured frequency, and then calculates the dielectric loss by the complex trapezoidal formula. The simulation results show that the improved correlation function method for dielectric loss measurement can reduce the measurement error. In the absence of harmonic interference, the grid frequency fluctuates from 49.5 to 50.5 Hz, and the maximum value of the dielectric loss measurement error decreases from the 10-3 level to the 10-5 level. In the case of harmonic interference, the grid frequency fluctuates from 49.5 to 50.5 Hz, and the maximum value of dielectric loss measurement error decreases from 10-2 to 10-4.
