Abstract:Based on the characteristics of complex wind farm operating conditions and dynamic changes of operating conditions, a method based on Mahalanobis distance fuzzy clustering algorithm (FCM-M) for equivalence modeling of wind farms is proposed. Taking the measured wind speed-power data collected by the wind farm under different wind conditions and seasonal variation time period as the grouping index, FCM-M is used to cluster the clusters, and the same group of wind turbines are equivalent to one unit and in DIgSILENT. Dynamic equivalence modeling of wind farms is achieved with its Matlab interface. The simulation results show that the active and reactive power changes of the wind farm's grid-connected point are basically the same as those of the measured data curve when the wind speed fluctuates and the high-voltage side line faults. It can be used for stability analysis of the wind farm with doubly-fed wind turbines when it is connected to the power system.
