Abstract:Deepwater oil and gas resources development is a major trend in current oil and gas development area, and China is rich in deepwater oil and gas resources, with the implementation of marine strategy in recent years, offshore oil and gas exploitation has entered the fast lane, subsea power supply system will have more and more applications in the future, and its development has become an inevitable trend. This paper has reviewed the composition and classification of subsea electric power supply system for subsea production, not only characteristics but also application cases for four types of subsea electric power supply systems are analyzed, including direct power supply system, subsea transformer power supply system, subsea AC power supply system and subsea DC power supply system. Key equipment and technologies for the subsea power supply system are analyzed in detail. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to accelerate the research of subesea power supply system in China.
