Abstract:This paper describes a special DC line fault in which the fault pole generates system circulation, resulting in the shutdown of non fault pole and the loss of transmission power. In view of the accident, this paper analyzes the fault causes and puts forward countermeasures to eliminate the circulating current, so as to avoid non fault pole shutdown in case of similar faults again, and provides guidance for avoiding the shutdown of the whole station in case of circulating current in DC line fault of converter station.
