Abstract：As the generator Under-excitation protection of criterion, Static impedance circle and asynchronous impedance circle is widely used, But there are some disadvantages. Based on Admittance Measurement Principle, establish computational formula, Simulation circle of characteristic of the admittance protection, criterion of Admittance Principle was proved is immune to fluctuations of the generator voltage, and discuss its characteristic. Finally, gave the detail of setting calculation and protection checking in IGCC power plant．
