Abstract：According to a case of maintenance and test after the outage of a 200kV line CVT, by using principle analysis, discovery and settlement of the fault of no grounding point is made when the secondary circuit switch-disconnector is broken. It is important to check up the grounding of the secondary circuit of the CVT which is either in acceptance or outage stage for maintenance. The measures to check up the grounding of the secondary circuit of the CVT are concluded in this paper.
