Abstract:The access of distributed generator changes the distribution network structure, resulting in the failure of the traditional distribution network fault location algorithm. To solve this problem, a matrix algorithm for fast judging the fault section of distribution network with DG is proposed. Based on the features of distribution network and the adjacency relationship between the nodes and feeder sections, the network describing matrix is optimized, and the corresponding fault criteria are presented. The generality of the algorithm is analyzed by combining the fault characteristic of different type DG. The algorithm has simple and intuitive network describing matrix and a small amount of computation, and it is general and quick. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified under the complex distribution network, either single fault or multiple faults.
