Abstract：The design of water cooling system for converter for the project of Northern Europe is introduced detailed in this paper, including parameters' calculation of the area of air cooler, cooling motor, expansion cylinder, water distribution, air duct and heater in cooler fin core body. This paper describes the operation principle of wind power converter cooling system, which may be used for reference of design of large capacity of water cooling system for converter.
