Abstract:The LCD display module provides a friendly man-machine interface for the control and protection device of power system and other industrial control device, which is mainly realized by configuring the independent display system. On the base of the POWERPC+FPGA hardware architecture of the CPU unit for the control and protection device of power system, this paper proposes a LCD display interface. The application program based on Qt development will collect the visuable data, and transmit the data to the FPGA with the Linux system LCD framebuffer device. The FPGA is used to realize the memory data storage and LCD controller function,and LCD interface circuit is directly connected to LCD screen by connectors and sockets. The design cancels the independent display system, and the test results show that, under different network stress conditions, the rate of CPU burden is less than 30%, and the LCD picture is clear and switches smoothly, while meeting the functions of communication and display, the LCD display function is well integrated in the CPU unit.
