Abstract：The tripping and closing motion of the high-voltage circuit breaker mainly depends on the tripping and closing coils excitation driving, the maintaining pawl of core trip to release the energy of the mechanism; While in the actual operation, the breaker rejecting act mainly dues to the burnout of the tripping and closing coil; In this paper, the reasons for the burnout of the tripping and closing coil of the breaker are analyzed combining with the in-site maintenance working experience and relevant, measures are put forward as the reference for the maintenance work on the breaker in the future.
