Abstract:Hydro-generator’s mechanical stability has great importance to its efficiency, safety and service life. However, the defect in manufacture, operation in non-optimal working condition and other indeterminate factor result in mechanic failure. This paper mainly collect, analyze and process the status signal of hydropower unit based on programmable logic controller (PLC). We can keep abreast of the operating status of the unit to ensure safe and reliable operation of the hydropower plant by real-time monitoring, in term of upper and lower machine mode.
