Abstract:The electric properties of the ITER BCC correction coil insulation flange were investigated in this paper. First, a tooling for shearing fatigue test of insulation pin of the insulation flange was designed and manufactured. The insulation resistance of the insulation pin after the fatigue test was measured and the results show that the insulation pin demonstrate a superior insulation resistance even after 60000 cycles, which is better than that of the ITER design requirement. And no cracks were found on the surface of the insulation pin after fatigue test. In addition, a high voltage insulation test method for the ITER BCC coil has been successfully designed to perform the electrical insulation test of the insulation flange. The test results show that the electrical insulation of the insulation flange meets the requirements of ITER.
