Abstract:The existing Beidou ground reference station can not meet the positioning requirements of thepower transmission systemwhichlocates in remote areas. Therefore, it is necessary to build a ground-based augmentation system for the power system. Based on Guangdong power grid, this paper designs the Beidou foundation reinforcement system according to the power system demand. According to the requirements of observation, maintenance and networking, the ground reference stations are planned. The network transmission system is built by using the mixed networking of proprietary communication link and wired link. On this basis, the transmission tower on-line monitoring system is designed. Through the high-precision displacement platform to detect the positioning accuracy, it can provide millimeter level positioning service for the power grid. Through the practical application of the 110kV transmission tower, the availability of the system is verified. It provides a reference for the construction of Beidou foundation strengthening system.
