Abstract：A video processing technology based intelligent energy meter fault detection method, unnecessary opening the energy meterterminal cover, PDA calls systemvideo camera to record and reads calibrator value by bluetooth. PDA record the video of the flash light and the value of voltage, current and phase simultaneously. The process the video section for image analyzing, get the intelligent energy meteractive pulse output moment, compare the smart time accumulated electrical energy of data by bluetooth, calculate the error to realize the fault detectionof the intelligent energy meter.
