Abstract:The design process of phase reversal disconnector for pumped storage generator/motor with the capacity below 350MV∙A is analyzed for the first time in China. The technical characteristics and design requirements are discussed, and the performance of temperature rise of a design scheme is estimated by simulation. The prototype designed according to the scheme has passed the temperature rise type test, which verifies the rationality and reliability of the scheme. The research can provide some useful reference for the performance improvement of similar products or the new development of similar products.
