Abstract:In order to solve the shortcomings of the existing reactive power allocation algorithm of automatic voltage control system in pumped storage power station, an improved reactive power margin allocation strategy is proposed. Through the reactive power limit value and current value of each unit, considering the real-time value of reactive power after single adjustment, the only incremental solution of reactive power of each unit is calculated, and the reactive power target inconsistent with the direction of voltage target regulation is eliminated by the same direction judgment. The strategy can be applied to the automatic voltage control system of pumped storage power station, reasonably distribute the reactive power of the unit in the station during the voltage-reactive power regulation process, and improve the economy and voltage stability of the unit operation.
