Abstract:The lack of digital models for conventional secondary circuit design has posed obstacles to the efficient construction and maintenance of substations for a long time, and has greater impact on substations where conventional sampling and tripping methods are used for relay protection equipment. The problems in protection operation and maintenance are mainly reflected in the low efficiency of secondary circuit verification and the difficulty in online monitoring. In recent years, experts have begun to study the modeling technology of substation secondary circuits, and have developed digital design specifications for secondary circuits in substations, laying the foundation for improving the level of substation lifecycle management. This paper proposes the method of improving the protection operation and maintenance technology based on the digital modeling of the secondary circuit, realizing the automatic testing and online monitoring of the secondary circuit of conventional sampling and tripping protection equipment without configuration, which is conducive to improving the operation and maintenance level of the relay protection system.
