Abstract：Voice alarm can notifiy dispathers of accidents in the power network through playing alarm bells or reading fault events. It is an important part of power dispatching master station systems. This paper intrduces a veriaty of technical means for the implementation of voice alarm. These means include sound alarm, alarm-sentence recording, centralized TTS and distributed TTS. Finally, the paper gives the prospect of application of TTS in voice alarm subsystem of power dispacthing master station.
