Research on Large-scale Variable Speed Wind Turbines Integration

Abstract：Based on the 12th Five-Year Plan programme data of wind power of the Fujian Fuzhou area, this paper establish a regional power grid model which include the wind farm model based on its actual operation features. Then the paper researches the influence on the grid voltage when the large-scale variable speed wind turbines, such as: Direct-drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (D-PMSG), integration on the PSCAD/EMTDC, for the sake of offer the simulation analysis for the planning and design of the wind power grid system.
