Abstract Reliable operation of power plant electrical equipment production safety for the whole plant has an important role. In this paper, power plant electrical equipment failure were analyzed to construct knowledge base and proposed based on BP neural network fault diagnosis method for electrical equipment and management measures. The practice shows that this method can effectively achieve power plant electrical equipment for fault diagnosis.
