Abstract A low power consumption, safety intelligent photovoltaic DC system with grounding monitoring function for photovoltaic battery string is put forward in the paper. The new type fuse, grounding monitoring module, current monitoring module, new DC moulded-case circuit-breaker (including used in DC cabinet and inverter cabinet) of combiner box used new technology with independent intellectual property rights, which greatly improve the operating safety and system safety of PV combiner box, reduce system power consumption, and narrow the volume of combiner box, DC cabinet and inverter cabinet. Meantime, the function of grounding monitoring function for photovoltaic battery string. In addition, two 630A/MCCB parallel connection is replaced with one 1250A/MCCB, so the problem of unequal current is complete avoidance and improve the life of other assembly in cabinet, so the safety and reliability of system is improved.
