Abstract With the further development of condition-based maintenance on power grid equipment, advanced energized test instrument and testing techniques has been widely used in equipment operation and maintenance. Owing to a wide variety of products developed by factories both home and abroad, there arises some quality problems according to statistics based on the use of energized testing instrument in recent years. To enhance quality and technical supervision of energized testing instrument, we must establish a scientific and reasonable assessment system. Three dimension energized testing instrument quality assessment system, which is based on performance, function and availability, provides basic reference of selection and use by the establishment of a number of assessment index, comprehensive assessment of the instrument. Through the application, It proves that the three dimension energized testing instrument quality assessment system has certain practicability and popularization.
