Abstract Power frequency magnetic fields of high voltage transmission lines are analyzed using the current simulation method. The results show that magnetic field is affected by many coefficients of the physical system. The key variables include: the phase distance, phase sequence arrangement of double loop, transmission power etc. The results provide a means to estimate the electromagnetic fields generated by transmission project.
