Research on Dynamic Inductive Power Transfer System based on a New Topology |

Abstract When inductive power transfer (IPT) system serves forthe IPT system serves for rail locomotive, D-type is usuallyused as the transmitter coil and receiver coil. For the transmitter is long, it can result in serious electromagnetic interfere (EMI) issues. Therefore, a 8-typetransmitter coil is applied in IPT system. Because mutual inductance between transmitting coil and receiving coil changessharply, it seriously affectsIPT system output power. Therefore, the DDQ-type coil is used as the receivercoil to balance the output power of IPT system. Finalliy, an IPT experimental system based on 8-type transmitter coil and DDQ-type receiver coil is constructed, and the experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the output power performance.
