The simulation method for isolated island microgrid operation with timely sequence characteristics |

Abstract Usually continuous simulation of the running status of the island microgrid during a certain period will be done to get the actual operation characteristics of the grid when design, reliability assessment or optimal dispatching is made on island microgrid. The paper presents an operation simulation method with time-sequence characteristics for island microgrid. First, power flow model with droop control strategy is built. Secondly, simulation process with time-sequence characteristics is put forward, and the charge and discharge of energy storage, load shedding and abandoning power strategy are fully considered. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified by an example of Benchmark 0.4kV low voltage microgrid and actual data.
