Multi-mode operation and transition for hybrid AC-DC microgrid based on master-slave control |

Abstract With the increasing use of DC power equipment, hybrid AC-DC microgrid becomes a new development trend. This paper analyzss the typical structure and basic operation modes of hybrid AC-DC microgrid, and proposes a multi-mode operation method consisting of 4 submodes: AC-DC jointly connected, AC connected and DC isolated, AC-DC jointly isolated, AC-DC isolated independently. The transition control of the aforementioned four submodes is also studied. Experimental results domenstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
