Abstract This paper expounds the important function of the inspection work of the substation equipment, introduces the status of equipment inspection in Substation, presents a device inspection method combining field equipment scavenging and remote recording, designs a set of equipment operation and maintenance inspection system combined with mobile phone terminal and remote server, and it is tried out in the equipment inspection, it improves the rate of equipment inspection, at the same time, the first time to find and deal with the equipment defects, and thus ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment.
