Abstract With the improvement of energy conservation and environmental protection, more and more auxiliary equipment have been replaced by converter motor in power plants. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the units, the auxiliary machine inverters are required to have high reliability. The paper analyzes the frequent failure of the inverter of a power plant, discusses the causes of these faults, and has certain reference significance for the further improvement of the inverter manufacturer design.
