Research on interpolation filter algorithm of merging unit

Abstract  Merging unit is mainly used for sampling data and synchronizing multi-source data by interpolation. In this paper, interpolation filter algorithmog of merging unit is deeply analyzed. A filter method combined with analog filter and digital filter is adopted, and an interpolation filter scheme with a sampling frequency of 4/4.8kHz and satisfying the requirements of the detection specification is designed according to the error generated by the interpolation filter alglorithm. The simulation results through Matlab show that the scheme solves the problem of requency aliasing better, and steady-state error meets the requirement of power system for merging unit.
