Abstract Noise problem of high voltage shunt reactor in substation is becoming more and more serious. Noise control is achieved by adding sound insulation device to high voltage shunt reactor in existing substation. However, sound insulation device may cause insufficient heat dissipation of high voltage shunt reactor, deteriorate the performance of internal insulation system, and affect the operation reliability and reliability of UHV shunt reactor. Economy. Based on the practical application of an ultra-high voltage substation in East China, this paper analyses the noise impact and heat dissipation performance of the high voltage shunt reactor with sound insulation device.
